Can I turn it on and off manually?
Absolutely. You can use it in sensor mode if you want, or you can simply turn the light on and off whenever you need it.
Can they be used outdoors?
Unfortunately not. UMA LIGHT is IP20-rated, which means it’s designed for normal indoor use only, without exposure to cold or moisture.
Can you buy extra brackets?
Yes, you can! Just send us an email at hello@glodco.com with how many you need, and we’ll ship them to you.
How do I install the lights the right way?
It’s super easy!
Let’s say you want to place it under your kitchen cabinet. Always start by making sure the surface where you want to mount the light bar is clean, smooth, and dry. Attach the two brackets to the light bar where you see the magnet icon, then remove the tape backing on the brackets.
Next, place the light bar exactly where you want it to sit, with the brackets still attached to it. Press it firmly in place for 30 seconds. To make sure the adhesive sticks as well as possible, we recommend removing the light bar from the brackets right after mounting them and waiting until the next day before placing the light bar back on.

How do I charge the light?
The light comes with a USB cable that you can plug into any USB port or charger you have at home.
When the light bar is plugged in, the sensor will turn red; once it turns green, you’ll know it’s fully charged.
How long does it last on a single charge?
Our light bars come with powerful batteries that ensure long-lasting performance.
At 100% brightness, you can expect the following hours on a full charge:
40 cm: 14 hours
30 cm: 12 hours
20 cm: 10 hours
When using the sensor mode, the battery can last for months. It depends on how often the light is activated and what brightness level you set it to.
We even have customers who, after 5 months of use (in their wardrobe), still haven’t had to recharge them 😮
Does the light turn on during the day when in sensor mode?
No. The light automatically detects daylight and won’t turn on during the day when there’s enough light around it. This helps optimize and extend the battery life — and saves you money on your electricity bill.
How do I best maintain my UMA LIGHT?
To keep your Uma Light in the best condition, we recommend the following:

- Make sure to clean the surface before mounting the light bar, this helps prevent it from falling down and potentially getting damaged.
